Why New Year Resolutions - Don't Work

Most New Year's resolutions do not work or last for two reasons.

1) Most resolutions are attached to the calendar (January 1) - This relieves you of a duty, because you do not have a vested interest. You would have better results, if you made your resolutions on Your birthday.

2) Most resolutions are made to "stop" something. This is a negative thought pattern. Hence, you will be spending more of your "thinking" in the negative - which will cause more of the same problems.

You would be better off, if you spent your thinking time, on positive things that would improve your life.

If you followed THE REIKI PRINCIPLES

Just for today: I will give thanks for my many blessings.
Just for today: I will not worry.
Just for today: I will not be angry.
Just for today: I will do my work honestly.
Just for today: I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing.

Your life will change, for the better. Sending love to you, for your new year.

Government Conducting Trials on Reiki

During some research today - I found an interesting piece of information.

The US Government is conducting trials on the effects Reiki Healing has on people. You can read the trials here -- Clinical Trials

We have always known that the Government conducts trials and studies on things that are not widely accepted in the general population.

With the publication of these trials - Alternative Healing might be excepted. So, don't be afraid to seek out this form of healing.

We could always use a little more healing.

McMinnville New Thought Fellowship

A couple of months ago - I was drawn to a community of people. They call themselves "New Thought Fellowship". My spirit told me to become involved with them. It wasn't too long, before a position as "board member" was open.

I am now a board member. I volunteered for the "out reach committee". I am also leading a meditation class on Wednesday evenings.

My Return

Sorry, I have been gone awhile - I have been doing some intense training in the area of healing systems.

During my spiritual journey, I have "uncovered" many things. One of them, is that I want to help as many people can to "wake up" to their spiritual side.

The next major thing, was that all of us have a lot of "stuff" to work on - this all requires healing of some sort.

So, I have been learning various healing techniques; so that I can help others; to work through their "stuff". Some of the healing that we have to do, is physical. But, the majority of the healing has to take place in the spiritual body (this has many names).

This is where all the different "healing systems" come into play. Each one are great by themselves. But, they are "tuned" to one type or frequency of energy.

I am certified in Usui Reiki and working on what they call Kundalini Reiki

Great Seminar

I went to a seminar, this past Tuesday, the speaker was James Ray. James Ray is one of the stars to the movie “The Secret”

He explained several “laws” of the Universe and how they effected everyone. I came away a different person, just with the few secrets that he revealed at this seminar.

New Virus -

A new virus going around:

There is a dangerous virus being passed around electronically, orally, and by hand. This virus is called Worm-Overload-Recreational Killer (WORK).
If you receive WORK from any of your colleagues, your boss, or anyone else via any means DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your private life completely. If you should come into contact with WORK, put your jacket on and take two good friends to the nearest supermarket. Purchase the antidote known as Work-Isolating-Neutralizer-Extract (WINE) or Bothersome-Employer-Elimination-Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.
You should forward this warning to five friends. If you do not have five friends, you have already been infected and WORK is controlling your life.

Whew! Thank God I found five friends to send this to.

They are also the same people that say that they belief every word that is written in the bible.

Exegesis on the Soul

I have just had the pleasure of reading through this book - and I sure wish that I was told about this book, years ago.

I believe that this book does a much better job - of explaining the who, what, where, why and the how of the soul - than any of the parables could. Every thing in this book is backed up by the scriptures.

Book of Jasher

I read the Book of Jasher. This is a book from the Hebrew - that was turned into Genesis and Exodus. There seems to be a lot of differences between these books. It is well worth reading.

Shepherd of Hermas

I have been introduced to another ancient writing. This text comes from the first century. It is a writing known as the Shepherd of Hermas, it has the power to overcome the gulf of division between believer and non-believer.

In discovering the great wisdom that most modern believers reject -- a wisdom that was so clearly defined in the original teachings of Jesus and The Way -- the reader will become aware of a reality they never knew existed.
